Few days ago, I’m looking around to get some dummy post of WordPress for testing purpose on my server. I Need some posts like theme.wordpress.net for testing theme’s css support. But I did not get any… So, I initiate to create a dummy (almost) precisely to themes.wordpress.net test page.
Once you downloaded the dummy post, unzip it, then you will get an xml file. A way to include the test post data in to your existing wordpress site is import it, wp-admin > manage > import > select the wordpress import type. Click browse to navigate to the .xml file, then click the “upload file and import”.
